Cedaredge Appleblossom Ride 2017

May 13th, 2017

Ride starts promptly at 8 AM

4th Annual Appleblossom Ride May 12th in Cedaredge Colorado

Treat yourself and your bike to a beautiful ride! The 2015, 2016, and 2017 rides were a great success and we heard from some riders that it was the best ride they have taken in Colorado. Enjoy this challenging but scenic ride, and then celebrate your finish at one of the many area restaurants. Registration in the Hard Core or AppleCore routes provides an event performance t-shirt and  $10 in BlossumBucks to be used at participating restaurants. Registrants in the Applesauce ride get treated to ice cream at the midway point.  Register early to ensure a t-shirt and then meet us  for a great ride in Cedaredge Town Park at 7:30 May 12th.

Hard Cider

This challenging 50 mile course is a mix of steep climbs, twists and turns and pleasant straight and flat roads that lead you through beautiful landscapes on remote and winding roads. This course was designed by seasoned road cyclers. You will enjoy views of orchards, mountain vistas and canyons.  Current  Record time of 2:45.  Aid stations provided. Portions of this ride on Strava.  Map

Apple Core

The Apple Core route has some of the climbing elements of Hard Cider yet is half as long at only 25 miles. It begins with a climb and settles to a nice flat then culminates in a satisfying climb.  For intermediate riders. Aid Stations.  Map

Apple Sauce

Applesauce is a 12 mile beginner to moderate ride on lightly traveled roads. This ride is good for enthusiastic beginners, and cyclists with accompanying children. The first half is a mix of subtle climbs and relaxed flats. You get treated to ice cream at Aspen Trails at the halfway mark!

We can't wait either!!!
